How to use MoReq2 - practical advice on getting the best results
MoReq2 was published in February this year. Developed in the UK and published by the European commission, it has already generated a lot of interest and enthusiasm, and is destined to become a leading standard for the management of electronic records.
In this presentation Marc Fresko, the MoReq2 Project Director, briefly describes MoReq2, and explains how it was produced. He then focuses on some of its novel and valuable characteristics, as well as highlighting its limitations and aspects of records management that it does not address.
The emphasis of the presentation is on practical advice, providing guidance on how to use MoReq2 in practice - and how not to mis-use it. This should be of interest to anyone who is responsible for managing electronic records, especially if they are procuring an electronic records management system, but also if they already have a system and are interested to understand how systems are evolving.
