Re-developing the records management code of practice under section 46 of the FOI Act
Re-developing the records management code of practice provided for by section 46 of the UK Freedom of Information Act has been an interesting challenge. The code issued in November 2002 was written less than 10 years ago but it feels as if it comes from a different age. Technology has changed our working life and challenged our understanding of the concepts and principles by which records managers work.
The presentation will look at the some of these issues and share some of the contents of the revised code.
