Cerys and James will discuss what they regard as the 7 key questions that the rise of SharePoint poses to records management and to records managers.
Topics covered will include:
- The challenges of working with records management tools such as fileplans and retention rules within the SharePoint environment (which wasn't designed for them!)
- The key differences between SharePoint 2007 and 2010
- The impact of SharePoint on records management standards such as MoReq2
This session will take the form of a discussion between Cerys and James, both of whom have extensive knowledge of both SharePoint 2007 and 2010. As well as a dialogue between the speakers, the subject with be opened up to the floor to allow you to make your observations and ask your questions about this important topic.
