Cerys Ledger, London Borough of Merton

Cerys Ledger

Cerys was awarded the Records Manager of the Year Award 2009 from The Records Management Society, and is currently in her second year of the MSc in Records management at Northumbria University.

She is currently working as the Records Manager at the London Borough of Merton and has been there since april 2007. She is currently working on the implementation of an EDRMS across the council, is contributing to the Trnasformation programme, and has recently overhauled and audited the corporate archive facility, that had turned into a dumping ground for boxes.

Prior to working in Records Management, Cerys was the Data Quality and Information Officer and the Business Information manager for children's social care at the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. She has also worked in magazine production and in retail merchandising. Cerys holds a BA in Communication Studies from Gldsmith's College and a MA in Modern History from Birkbeck College.
