Edith Pringault-Adam, Aberdeenshire Council

Edith is currently the Information and Records Manager at Aberdeenshire Council. In her role, she formulated the Council’s information management policy, the basis of which forms an ambitious information management programme, including guidance and training on records management. Whilst adopting a practical and personal approach, she strives to follow the path of continuous improvement.
Her career so far spans over 15 years, in various posts, covering administrative roles, auditing quality systems, training, developing standards and guidance for documentation and records management, information security, organising events, in private and public organisations. After a degree in Business and Administration in 1989, she graduated in 2007 with a Masters in Records Management with Commendation from University of Northumbria.
Edith is currently the Chair of the Records Management Society Scotland Group and a member of the 2009 Conference Committee.
